Is it just me?

Whenever I see that LJ-Cut message, "( You are about to view content that may not be appropriate for minors. )" I get all excited, wondering what sort of kinky, naughty post someone is putting up.

And every time, it's so disappointing to read that it's something unremarkably mundane. Really, what's the point? That whole "Over fourteen" thing is completely useless.

LJ, stop falsely raising my expectations!
