Two Notes
1. Watchmen the movie was exactly what I thought it was going to be. A remarkably faithful adaptation of the original comic with a modified (for what?) ending. Given that I'm not exactly a huge fan of the comic in the first place (yes, I know, Blasphemy) that means that I thought it was okay. Rorschach was still great, however.
2. I was at Borders Books & Music before the movie and I've got to say that their Science Fiction and Fantasy section was atrocious. It was very small with mostly shelf after shelf of utter crap. Why would I ever want to shop seriously there? It's gotten to where there's no point in even going inside the store. For shame. I'd also like to point out, however, that a lot of crap is getting published these days. And what the hell is the deal of using hot pink on the cover of The Shining? It's not chick lit, people.
